Except Gore, if he assumes the presidency, will not get it having lost both the national popular vote and the electoral college vote, as would be the case if Bush assumes the presidency. Big difference!

Has anyone ever become president losing both the popular vote and the electoral college vote? I don't think so. And the consequences of doing so would be a tragedy for our nation, and not set a good example for democracies throughout the world.

If this is allowed to happen, expect the worse as independents and undecideds, together with Democrats and supporters of minority parties will NEVER support a Bush administration which came to fruition under such circumstances.

In fact, Bush's campaign is so rash it has called for Gore to concede even though the Floridian absentee ballots are not yet in. Show's you what kind of administration we'll get from Bush.
