For people in MRVC this may interest you: Thursday November 9, 11:29 pm Eastern Time Luminent says prices 12 shares at $12/shr CHATSWORTH, Calif., Nov 9 (Reuters) - Luminent Inc (NasdaqNM:LMNE - news), which makes fiber optic components for high-capacity data transmission, said Thursday it priced 12 million shares in an initial public offering at $12 per share, below the range it set in September. The Chatsworth, California-based company raised $144 million through the offering, which was managed by Credit Suisse First Boston, CIBC World Markets, Robertson Stephens, U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray and First Security Van Kasper. The underwriters have a 30-day option to buy up to 1.8 million additional shares of common stock from Luminent to cover over-allotments, if any, the company said. Shares of Luminent, which is a subsidiary of MRV Communications Inc (NasdaqNM:MRVC - news), are expected to begin trading Friday on the Nasdaq National Market under the symbol ``LMNE.''
