Actually, it has nothing to do with big government, more with the concerns for a nationwide election. Then when one "select" group has a problem with the ballot, we can laugh and consider the source.

I sold my "hereafter" vote for a pack of smokes & a pint of T Bird. The guy said they were trying to expand their constituency in future elections. Had to tell them where I planned to be buried.
