I think it is very unlikely that a Court is going to speculate about which candidate the voter intended to vote for, even in the example you gave. The more likely scenario is that everyone who voted in the county would be allowed to revote.

ZERO Tha't the number of people in Palm Beach County who objected to the "Butterfly Ballot" form prior to the election, which is when the proper time is to object. Thus, the Gore people must accept their own failure to make timely objections to the ballot that they now claim has cost them the election.
