My 2 cents ..

We can speculate/complain until we are blue in
the face, but the fact remains that there is no
crisis .. constitutional or otherwise .. The
FEC ( Florida Election Commission ) will by Florida
Law "certify" the results of last Tuesday's election
no later than next Friday Nov 17 2000 .. the last day
that the absentee mailed in ballots may be 'received'

We will have a 'winner' once certification occurs ..
At that point the legal system in Florida can/will
entertain whatever challenges to the results are filed ..

Unfortunately we get to listen to at least another
week of "talking head psycho-babble"; but all that is
occurring in Florida is occurring in accordance with
existing law and on existing timetables ..

Driving an automobile is a privilege, not a right.
Voting is a right.

I don't comprehend the distinction.

Really? Well if you had failed your breathalizer and been in the US, the difference would have been explained to you by an official of the local justice system.
