As I have said here before, let the chips fall where they may. If my grandparents were incapacitated to the point where they could not follow simple instructions, which we don't know is the case here, I would consider them incapable of informed decision. Situations such as those were taken advantage of by Gore's SS scare tactics. I could understand if Gore cautioned seniors about Bush's plan but I object when he uses the term "destroy" to scare them. I much prefer rational statements to the bombastic rhetoric employed by Gore. You will no doubt disagree, though deep inside you know he engaged in gross overstatement to enhance his candidacy.
