Winning the popular vote is like having the most yardage in a football game. It is about the points. And here it is about the electoral college.

We elect by Electoral College, not PV. Suggest you read the Constitution. But more importantly with OR, FL and many other states not having counted a large number of absentee ballots, no one can make the statement that Gore carreid the PV at this time. JLA

<Conclusion: Bush still wins by 327. JLA

Yes and President-In-Waiting Gore still wins the popular vote by 220,000. >

Correct me if I am wrong, Kenneth, but the Electoral College will choose our next President, not the Popular Vote. As Gore said, "This is not a popularity contest".

Did the Constitution change overnight and I just missed it?
