bambs, i am not taking offense to your comments, just noting the negativity. The more negativity i note in analysts and traders, the better I feel about my long positions and usually end up adding. I have been adding shares but I am not looking at some speculative calls. Added calls in many techs yesterday and will probably add the balance sometime in the coming few days but before next Friday. Picking spots where there has been a lot of bearishness---semis and communications--however avoiding Intel for a couple of days.

The case you have presented is more or less factored into the market; that is why it is hard to take your comments and panic. There is a good chance there has been an overeaction and that is what i am betting on. Once we get through this election issue---maybe by next week, we could be off to the races.

Bambs,

First, you didn't hurt my feelings - that is something that happens to children. I just find your posting style argumentative and attacking which is not condusive to discussing CSCO or the stock market. This is not a playground for me... perhaps it is for you and if so then you can go play with the other children. I don't need it.

I have not "laughed at you". I have even stated that you have some good insight onto macro issues. I have not claimed you are in denial... so please refrain from posting me in such a manner. I have my opinions to which I'm entitled.... the current market conditions are terrible - mostly due to the election crap, to a perspective that capex is slowing, and to expectations of a slowing economy. The election issue will be handled (I hope soon), capex - I have new information from RHK which looks like capex in fact may not be slowing at all, and as for the economy.... indeed it is slowing but I believe recent revaluations more than take that into account.

So, while you're entitled to your opinion that NAZ is going to 1500 and CSCO to $25, I tend to believe that this is a time to reset positions and get ready for the run-up which has unfortunately been delayed by this election nonesense.

Good day.

OG
