The first indications of fraud have come forward. A republican voter requested an absentee ballot by mail and did not receive one. The ballot was voted in his name.

Gore backing down would violate the very principles of the Constitution, and the basis which our country was founded on.

What kind of message does it send if both candidates take to the courts in a half dozen states, and the election isn't decided by the voters? Do you think it is possible to have perfect elections?

The message it would send is that Gore puts the system ahead of his personal interests. That he a politician with integrity.
