Ahh. Yeah, and all manner of associations, especially with ecology and green stuff, shamanism even. And Sylvanus, a tree or land of trees, tree dweller, land of tree dwellers perhaps? I can find no direct reference to Sylvanus. Gore, the ultimate tree-hugger. Often considered wooden himself. And Bush. Hmmm, no tree references there.

X, Does all this apparent market worry over the election strike you as a bit overdone as it does to me? Lack of certainty? I mean, for certain, Gore or Bush will be the next prez. Plus, the market loves gridlock, and that is likely, if not certain, in the coming months and years. I'm buying, big, hard-hit names in the tech sector like INTC, AMAT dropping on relatively low volume, believing that once it does settle a decent short term rally will pull my ass out of the frying pan.
