Glenn, How about the $100 price target. Is it still good?

Haven't you realized by now that Mr. Blodget/Merrill Lynch must have an interest in amzn going up. The facts and the majority view it otherwise. This stock should be at 25 on a good day.

Blodget can never anything wrong with Amazon. It is time to accumulate just like ETYS LOL:

Notice how Blodget's instincts betray him. He knows that this sales offer is a desperate act by Amazon, yet he tries to rationalize it through the some bogus arguments...

<<Although our first reaction was to cringe ("free shipping" is usually code for "revenue shortfall in progress"), upon further reflection, we aren’t too worried about it.
1. The offer lasts only through November 22, it is only for ground shipping, and it is only for orders over $100>>

Cool, time to monetize some more AMZN shareholder ignorance; need some more dollar bills for 90 cents! Think I'll buy a hundred bucks of REALLY heavy gardening tools online (you know, the ones that "changed the face of the internet forever") while the offer's good.....

Does AMZN sell bricks?<GGG>

Edit: This will do nicely, only 95 pounds!!!<GGG>

3. Inexpensive marketing. Ground shipping per $100 order probably averages about $10-$15. This is less than Amazon’s average customer-acquisition-cost.

What a total joke!!!!! This statement by Blodget shows his complete denial of the situation.

Why not just say instead of free shipping...Amazon announced today they willing to sell any item over $100 for $10-15 dollars off because they are desperate to grow revenue and any cost. They don't care about their margins and since they can't make a profit they are just going to sell as many products as they can, at a loss, until they go broke some time next spring.
