Z, I listened to the CC and they were quite forthcoming IMO. They mentioned the material flow through and yes indicated that this was not marked up and a wash. They have four new HDD companies (not seagate) which their products are in for evaluation. They indicated that FSA has equal or better performance to TSA with a 30% price advantage and that HTCH has come in to Seagate i.e. and are trying to get their TSA products qualified and reducing their price 30% to compete. As to the ASP for FSA, they mentioned 1.50 to 2.oo and said it was under extensive qualification with the HDDs and that there is now second sourcing because of the licensing. 60% business HDD in 2001. Chip packaging ramping for Bluetooth, and Broadband applications. Sales in 2001 guided at 200 mill and 70 cents thereabouts /share. I think FSA is winning the battle and FgSA they said is working well also. What do you think?
