I agree. If Bush had won by a margin of 3001 votes, I would say that Gore should concede. But 300 votes is certainly close enough to wait for the absentee ballots.

I don't have any problem in having him wait until the recount is done, but his troops should stop the sabre rattling about litigation and all that nonsense so that people will know that it's OVER when the re-count is complete.

He owes that to the country, IMO.
