And that is the beauty of democracy. Ignorant people and the wise can equally participate in the outcome. There is adequate representation for the states in the Senate and fair representation in the House. So the states may survive the inhumane ravages of a president elected by the few liberals in populous states.

As for "seemingly infinite wisdom", the operative word is "seemingly". I for one do not believe in infallibility of anyone person or group. The key is flexibility to move with the times. But that is just my ignorant opinion.
