Daniel,

There was a deliberate, good reason for that. It wasn't accidental and I know why. Do you?

And that part of the constitution was repealed by amendment. If there are other parts of the constitution you don't like you should seek and amendment to repeal them as well but they should not be ignored before repeal.

Tim

Daniel: The Republicans hated it when Clinton got in; they couldnt vote him out, and they couldnt impeach him out.. and now.. in a close election, in a state that apparently is famous for irregularities, in a state run by Republicans, in a state run by the candidates brother, the Republicans appear to be trying to orchestrate a bloodless electoral coup d'etat and get in on technicalities.. I know they want to kick the Democrats out.. but I didnt think they would show their greed for power as much as they have... the overseas ballots havent even come in and yet their spokeswomen are already declaring victory and asking Gore to concede, before those ballots overseas even get counted (they claim that its all military vote and that most vote for them, so merely a formality to count those votes - well.. I've talked to a friend in the US who is of the Democrat side and counters that they feel they have a large Jewish vote coming in from overseas due to their VP being on the ballot) or legal challenges are mounted..

What arrogance.

Dan,

That part of Constitution was repealed. I am not aware that the part (specifying the day when the presidential elections are to be held) was repealed
