OT What about absentee ballots? It seems to me that given how tight things are, that they should be counted BEFORE the winner is declared, no?

Apparently, there are still about 1,500,000 absentee ballots outstanding, which could possibly hand the national popular vote to Bush. This would stop the democrats "moral" argument about Gore being the choice of the people. Does anyone know when they will be counted? Seems like it's taking forever.
