The $1.7 trillion dot.com lesson

cnnfn.cnn.com

Old news obviously, but still a pretty good read on the evolution of a bubble. It's usually the venture capitalist that eventually kill the bubble imho.

I loved this quote.

"...many turtlees hatch, few make it to the sea."

Sums it up pretty good. They also correctly point out that Amazon.com is not really a .com company.

Poof - 1.7 trillion no longer exists.

Iso -

Time to have a nice fat cash cushion and cover your butt IMHO.

I am not totally convinced - if given the chance to take the other side of a trade from Jesse, I have to consider it. He has no legs - he will get a short burst and then collapse. We all understand that he has no basis for any real protest - so how do I buy a Jesse-Put? I guess I have to get a little long - something. I have no idea what - but something.

<At what point do these dildo liberal TV networks grow some gonads and take on this egomaniac?! >

wow iso; can you really use those words here (VBG) ?

damn ~

Well the emotion-meter is rising isn't it...

Gotta be a holder, not a seller on Oils since support has not been broken as yet, but with intelligent stops.

And I really think that as soon as Florida Certifies the re-count & the absentee ballots - this is all over... so much pressure will be placed on Gore by the real "Powers that be" - that he'll acquiesce...and a nice DCB trading opp will result...

Then a potential "feel-good" honeymoon end of year DOW/NAZ Rally "may" result - that then re-sets up a great short opp...

Man; ya gotta hold the Oilpatch here untill support is broken - cold front ready to blanket the country, Saddam getting itchy, OPEC - no mo Oil... and this fiasco could be over in days, not weeks.

Keep your eye on the Commodity Price tape imo; that's what matters fundametnally here - the rest is all "noise" that is creating a trading/buying opp"

Dow, NAX and S&P ugly already n' "...day ain't over yet".

Whadda ya think guys? Bout 2 hrs till the PPT shows up?

All they can do now is slow down the velocity of this power dive. And if Jesse "the riot" Jackson gets em in the streets across the nation next week the PPT will just walk away because it'll be meltdown city!

No panic from this ring side seat. Just a nice cash war chest for the best buying op in a long LONG time. OH YEAH!
