Sure, it's the Intel company line to not respond to downgrades because they can't respond to all of them, and they've got the "stoic" culture from a long time ago. But a downgrade along with Dell, who hasn't moved up the food chain soon enough, at an already beaten down Intel price, is absurd. The timing is right after the webcast in which Intel was very positive, laid out solid GMs for a whole year, and predicted growth in excess of what Niles even had.

When analysts continue to get more credence than even conservative companies like Intel, investing hasn't improved as a science at all.
