Volt,

A Georgetown Psychology Professor was just on MSNBC. He claims that yesterday he gave a copy of the Florida ballot to 100 Georgetown students and told them to vote for the candidate of their choice and then tell him for whom they intended to vote.

37 voted Gore as they intended, but 19(!) meant to vote for Gore but punched the Buchanan circle instead. 40 intended to, and did, vote for Bush. 1 voted for Buchanan correctly, 1 intended to vote Buchanan but voted incorrectly. 1 voted Harry Browne, 1 wrote in a name.

He cites this as "proof" of the unfairness of the Florida ballot, even though (my opinion) Georgetown students may indeed have been aware of the dispute before participating in this "experiment". These guys are gonna start coming out of the woodwork with their anecdotal evidence. Sorry to say, this is gonna get worse before it gets better.
