AMEN to that - I think, though, that term limits are opposed to by ALL professional politicians - Repub and Dem. If we had a referendum to have the people decide, it would change. In fact, we already have term limits for county-level folks in my MD district. There was a question on the ballot to abolish them this time that was SOUNDLY DEFEATED. This in a notoriously Democratic state - I think all folks are tired of the "professional" politicians. Bring the question of term limits at the Federal level to referendum by the people and it will pass easily IMO.
