By that logic, and that of the link you offered, you can not make analogys for politics then, unless it is something that is of agreed upon equal importance and complexity. An Analogy is made to try and simplify something in the first place, by your rules it might make it more complicated. That is fine though, I understand the passion on both sides of this political debate, no use fighting over this really.
