You are correct of course on the automatic re-count. One of the amazing aspects of the current win-loss claims situation, is that the only vote count we have in hand is the AP news wire count. The State of Florida hasn't certified any vote count; let alone have all the counties. To the best of my knowledge the AP vote count doesn't determine anything.

You're right there, but no state will do a recount unless it is requested...why should they?
