NAZ has stopped going down for today. PPT to the rescue? ;o)

Probably. So does money go into decimated techs or oils or both? Me? I'm headed for the IHOP to get me a huge pile of pipin' hot waffles! <g>

Have fun all.

Michael -
Looks like we tested this afternoon.

I have learned that stocks can _stay_ oversold when money is being pulled out of the market, and stay overbought when money comes into to the market.

More exactly, when the RATE at which money is taken out increases, they can stay in oversold.

Most "oscillators" (stochastics, MACD, etc.) have this characteristic - they follow the waves - when the tide shifts, they may act funny.

Both mutual fund flows and money outside the U.S. are changing direction now.

I'll agree we are going lower - just don't know how fast.
I'm not sure the patch is that different, short term (meaning 2 weeks to 4 months)

IF the NAZ heads for 1800, I expect lower prices on patch stock until spring.

By the way, both Gary Smith and Todd Harrison on The Street.com have mention 1800-1900 as the next support level.
