No it isn't! This is exactly how the founding fathers planned it, the electoral college allows a greater coice for states with a lesser population.

God help a country that just reflects and is governed with the values of NYC and LA. As soon as there's serious challenge to the electoral college, everything else is at risk IMO. As a last resort we still have our guns.
