MYNG getting closer to production...now, can they make any money at it?

Golden Eagle Signs Contract for Initial Mine Construction At Cangalli,
Bolivia

SALT LAKE CITY, Nov 10, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Golden Eagle International,
Inc. (OTC Pink Sheet:MYNG) announced today that it has contracted the services
of Giovanni Viscarra, a well-known Bolivian geologist specializing in the
gold-bearing conglomerate deposits found on Golden Eagle's properties in the
Tipuani Gold Mining District.

Mr. Viscarra served as Golden Eagle's Mine Superintendent during 1996. Mr.
Viscarra's current services have been contracted for the construction of the
Chaco Mesa interior mine. We expect Mr. Viscarra, and his crew, to open the
initial mine adit of 10 meters (33 feet) on Monday, November 13, 2000. This
principal ore adit will house the central conveyor system that will be fed by
trunk conveyors from block caving ore chutes.

Mr. Viscarra and his crew just completed a contract with Golden Eagle for the
rehabilitation of a caved-in section of the company's 330-meter (1,000 feet)
deep shaft at Cangalli, Bolivia.

Ronald L. Atwood, Ph.D., Golden Eagle's Vice President for Development, spent 3
weeks in October 2000 with Mr. Viscarra, engineering the initial phase of the
company's Chaco Mesa mine.

Dr. Atwood stated: "Giovanni Viscarra wrote his dissertation on Cangalli and the
gold-bearing conglomerates filling the Paleo-Tipuani Valley in 1986. He has an
outstanding knowledge of the characteristics of the deposit and has demonstrated
his competency on other interior mine projects for Golden Eagle in the past. Mr.
Viscarra is an important addition to the field team that Golden Eagle is
assembling to work toward making its Cangalli mine a success."

Golden Eagle International, Inc. is a gold exploration and mining company

The future conduct of Golden Eagle's business and its response to issues raised
by third parties are dependent upon a number of factors, and there can be no
assurance that Golden Eagle will be able to conduct its operations as
contemplated. Certain statements contained in this release using the terms
"may," "expects to," and other terms denoting future possibilities, are

variety of risks that are beyond Golden Eagle's ability to predict or control,
and which may cause actual results to differ materially from projections or
estimates contained herein. These risks include but are not limited to, the
risks described in the above press release; those risks set out in Golden
Eagle's disclosure documents and its annual, quarterly and periodic reports; and
the other risks associated with start-up mineral exploration operations with
insufficient liquidity, negative working capital, and no historical
profitability.

Specifically, it is also important to note that there is a risk that the Company
may not be able to raise the additional funding necessary to finish construction
of its contemplated plant. In addition, there is a risk that once the operation
is running, it will not be economically viable. All of these risks, as well as
all other risks associated with a small gold mining company and South America
operations, should be carefully examined by all shareholders and prospective
shareholders. Golden Eagle disclaims any obligation to update any
forward-looking statement made herein.
