Next election, I vote that we let the professionals decide. I think we should just have the city of Chicago handle the whole vote for the nation. <g> --- Having said that, I think right now, 'baseball rules' should apply and 'tie goes to the runner'. George W was the runner. --- I'm reminded of the 1960 election and how Vice President Nixon opted not to ask for a re-count and instead conceded the election to JFK keeping the best interests of the country as his greatest interest. To my mind (even though I voted for Gore ...I *think) that would make it the Democrat's turn to concede the close election in kind. -JCJ
