Hi everyone,

From a practical standpoint, if Gore takes this to the court and loses, his political career is over. His reputation of being a mean-spirited sonuvabitch will be cast in concrete. On the other hand, if he concedes to the vote in Florida and spends the next four years as the popular vote winner that didn't get the White House, he will be in a wonderful position to claim the presidency. Americans would respect him and he would grow into a truly presidential character. Ironic huh?
