Joel, if something was illegal before and the issue wasn't addressed, are you saying that it must therefore be legal now? If so, isn't that a bit like saying that if a criminal commits a crime and doesn't get caught, he's allowed to do the crime again without fear of reproach because of precident?

ED - I just think that ni view of the importance of this matter they ought to get a judge, holiday or not and let him decide. And if he can't or it gets appealed than up all the way to the Supreme Court but do it immediately and get on with it.

Todays drop I doubt actually hs much to do with the election but has to do with a very nasty recession coming up and nothing to bail it out or stop it or indeed do anything to help.

The market is usually six months ahead and it is telling us that there is something very nasty on the way.
