There have always been prognisticators telling people to get out of the market at particular points in time. Remember Joe Granville? He was hyping this just before the start of the biggest bull market in history. So how do you know whether a prognisticator telling you to leave the market will be correct? You don't. Niether does the prognosticator. So you buy good stocks and you hold them and try to sell them when they seem overvalued. It's on this last point that I usually screw up. INTCfan
