Assuming the procedure was properly done an example should of been sent out as to how to fill in the ballot.
Tho i hate to say it, if people did not take the time to read the leaflet and question if they knew not how to do they are at fault. The end responsibility lies within the individuals hands to find out how to do if they don't understand.

If an example was sent out this whole thing is moot in my mind.

The point concerns whether the configuration of the ballot as it appeared in the Palm Beach County voting booth was legal or not That is what the courts will decide. Your point concerning ignorance is irrelevant to the issue here.
