Stock surged following the CNBC appearance. I think the company is commendable for defending itself when the general market is at the mercy of analysts. I agree with you there. Jozef Straus did the same thing for JDS Uniphase. I only hope they are 100% confident they can meet their numbers. I can't imagine what would happen to BRCM if they ever missed their numbers. Joe

Ibexx....will his hype of home networking save their ass from the slowdown in other sectors??? I don't think so. Notice how he talked about Q4....but didn't say "BOOOO" about anything further than that??? WHY? WHY? WHY? Digital cable roll out is slow, STB is a commodity, DSL is a commodity, same for most networking chips...... ...at these levels everyone thinks it's a bargain, "INTEL is a bargain...this ain't no INTEL" I think we'll see 140 before 240.
