Yea, We're all concerned about the election, but there are far more troubling areas that are (temporarily) forgotten and could conceivably do much more harm to the markets....such as the weak Euro, and especially the problems in the middle east....Not to mention that the 'recovery' in asia has stumbled quite a bit in the last few months.

Seriously rethinking my investments, and of moving more of my long term investments into cash for purely intraday trading...not sure of what the new split ratio will be.

Have to see what the next couple weeks bring. But I'm glad to see that others are reading news that happen outside our borders here in the US.....I find that we as a nation are far to inclusive in our thinking.....as if we are so important that the rest of the world can be disregarded (unless we want something from them).

But hey, it's sunny outside and the weekend is here.
Time to frolic.

Sergio,

"Sergio

VOTE FOR ME AND I PROMISE TO MAKE THE STOCK MARKET GO UP AND UP AND UP AND UP AND UP....(REGARDLESS OF MY NICKNAME)"

Thats the way my wife claimed I voted anyway. We are over due for an up day on Monday. Heres hoping the cold weather I am sending you from Tuvula hits you this weekend and puts a scare in the energy market.

Joe

U.S. Commodity Scorecard: Natural Gas Gains Most in Latest Week
By Bill Banker

New York, Nov. 10 (Bloomberg) -- The following table shows the best- and worst-performing commodities in the Bridge- Commodity Research Bureau index during the past week.

BEST PERFORMING Natural gas +10.7% A cold spell in the Midwest, the largest

residential market for natural gas heating,

sent prices higher.

Heating oil +9.3% Forecasts for cold weather next week in the

Northeast at a time when inventories are

almost a third lower than a year ago sent

heating oil prices higher.

Orange juice +4.8% Orange juice futures rose as speculators

bought contracts in a bet that frost fears

in the weeks ahead will spur a rally.

Crude oil +4.0% Low inventories and the rally in heating oil

prices pulled crude oil higher.

Cotton +2.6% Concern that snowfall would damage Texas

crops before they could be harvested sent

prices higher early in the week.

WORST PERFORMING Sugar -4.4% Sugar prices fell on mounting concern that

world demand will be weaker than forecast.

Wheat -2.7% A government report that overseas demand for

U.S. grains will be weaker than expected

because of competition from other growers

sent wheat prices lower.

Cocoa -2.7% The start of exports from an Ivory Coast

cocoa crop that's forecast to be close to a

record high sent prices to their lowest

level in almost 28 years.

Soybeans -2.4% Soybean prices fell after the Agriculture

Department said South American production

would rise more than previously expected.

Cattle -1.1% Signs that beef demand will slow in the

weeks ahead sent cattle prices lower.
