that why I hate when Jerry speaks. I bet it was not a news for Jerry but he could not resist but to rub it in to intel. I have to give a credit to Jerry for recent amd execution yet my opinion remains the same that is amd needs new management team. I agree that Jerry probably knew although he had considerable company when he painted a rosy picture....as I said several CEO's and presidents did the same. And I agree it was Jerry's competition with Intel that inspired him to behave in that fashion. However I still think his vision and his ability to maneuver when the odds are against him outweigh his occasional gaffe. But not to worry, he's leaving soon. ted

What ever Jerry did to rub it into Intel - why is it such a big concern? Why do you keep insisting on that Jerry has to be subservient to Intel, and behave in a way to please Intel? Brain Halla(sp?) was so careful not to incite Intel, and even picked a roadmap to pacify Intel when they acquired Cyrix.
