The scambus operation kept pace pretty well today, down 6 3/32.

AMD upgraded, INTC downgraded. AMD announces confidence in at least 20% growth going forward into next year. Intel leaks out that their business is softening and past rates of investment portfolio profits are unlikely. AMD shows good relative strength while Intel leads the big cap stocks into retreat. AMD has market share and efficiencies to gain, Intel must move into higher cap intensive markets to grow their business.

Both of these companies look attractive from a valuation standpoint. AMD has more room to grow and more upward potential for the stock imo.

Nothing is changed except some ANALysts have discovered a new interpretation for how the industry is likely to shape up and the relative merits of these two rivals.
