CNBC just reported that a about 70 8th-graders all successful voted using a butterfly ballot for their favorite Disney character.

It was a tie between Mickey Mouse and Goofy! LOL!

Of course, they're now recounting the ballots. The Mickey Mouse fans are threatening to sue for another election because Mickey was spelled "Micky" and some were confused. They claim that there should have been pictures on the ballot. Likewise, the Goofy fans are saying that Goofy actually represents all the characters and the Donald Duck fans really meant to vote for Goofy. Even Donald Duck agrees. Katzenberg and Eisenberg have been called in to watch over the recounts. Results will be announced on the Disney network during The Mickey Mouse Club (which may be renamed The Goofy Club, depending on the outcoming) after the absentee ballots from the three kids who are on vacation are received. Both Mickey and Goofy have said that they hope to unite and lead the Disney characters after this is all over and expect an orderly transition to power.

God, this is waaaaaaaay too much fun.
