This NAZ has tested this level 6 times - very disconcerting that 3050 didn't hold next in the short term I think we are going to see the mother of all time capitulations - I agree any bounces will be sold into for a very long time. Very difficult to see much upside until the FED starts loosening mid-year 2001.

When it goes too low it starts to affect the economy. People with balloon payments on their homes and cars in San Jose, Seattle, etc. won't be able to make the payments. Layoffs will continue at the dotcoms and maybe spread, so people who were working like dogs for equity have no equity and no jobs.
