, it appears that all of the bulls and all of the bears are expecting Monday to be brutal. And some may take solace in the observation that when everybody thinks something will happen, it usually doesn't... Prediction: Gore softens his stance and makes conciliatory remarks over the weekend. People will realize the world is not coming to an end and that the Constitution will prevail, so the market turns up when people least expect it. Oh, and the Broncos will beat the Raiders on MNF. Not that you care....<gg>

I think it feels more like how the bulls were on the last leg up to 5000. About 4000. Have to see how the weekend turns out. I like the notion someone mentioned about Gore bowing out gracefully(as much as possible now) and we get a bounce off of that on Monday, but than reality will set back in. I don't know, just a random thought. Thanks for the Pods. If I had a son, no way would I put those things on him<g>

Yes, it reminds me exactly of the bulls at 5000>>>> jxm, no way, not even close, that sentiment extreme is the inverse of the bearishness extreme at the 98 bottom, not now, only a week ago a bunch of people were talking about the fall rally and dow 13,000. >>>the permabears will no doubt let their gains turn into losses.>>> all bear clowns will be destroyed? -g-
