Re: "Federal law sets the 1st Tuesday in November as the date for the Presidential election"

Technically, I think it's the first Tuesday after the first Monday. So if November starts on Tuesday the election will be on the second Tuesday, the 8th. I'm sure everyone was just dying to know that little bit of trivia.

MHO, but Federal law sets the 1st Tuesday in November as the date for the Presidential election.

Pagejack-

Actually, isn't it the Tuesday after the first Monday in November? This year, you get the same day either way.
