Gore supporters remind me of watching a football game where one side scores more first down and more yards, but comes up short in the score column.

Then they claim they really won the game.

Gore's team is all offense, but doesn't know how to get into the end-zone. :)

Bush could have controlled the timing, but chose to cover it up by not disclosing it. The offense was his responsibility. The reporting of it was his as well. Your attempts to shift blame to the DNC does nothing to negate the fact that it was Bush's sole responsibility.
