This so called curve fails to take into account the fact that one of Buchanan's relatives live in Palm Beach and that there was a massive spike in Reform Party registrations in the recent past. Also, Palm Beach had an extremely high % of Buchanan voters in 1996.

Could you put some numbers on these

A. Massive spike in [recent] Reform Party registrations.

B. Extremely high % of Buchanan voters in Palm Beach/1996.

Thanks in advance,
jttmab

The '96 vote fit in line with the other counties. This vote was an outlier. What is your background in statistical analysis? Could it even fill a trash can?

Look Buchanan himself admitted that people voted for him who meant to vote for Gore

Let's not kid ourselves here. Even GW himself knows who those people intended to vote for. If there isn't enough evidence to turn it around, it really doesn't matter.

He will know that but for the grace of that elegant ballot, goes he.
