The West Palm thing is the ultimate Red Herring. Cook County uses the same kind of ballot. Many places do. The demos had a chance to design it or object to it. The election supervisor is a demo.

If you sat every voter down and explained how the ballot worked, it is unlikely that very many of them would have gotten it wrong.

Unlike the second graders, this explanation was not given to the little of ladies of Palm Beach, and apparently a lot made mistakes were made.

BTW: My first grader is considerably more literate than many on the Rambus thread.
