Your arguments are absurd. His failure to disclose may be excusable with regard to not disclosing to his children. But alas he has campaigned for public office for years, asking for public trust all the while not disclosing his prior demonstration of lack of same. He took it upon himself to deny voters the chance to forgive him. He chose to hide this record. This is not public integrity as far as I am concerned.

To then make the further argument that other people do it, invoking Ted Kennedy's experience hardly elevates GW's case. Is Ted Kennedy the standard of moral probity you set for GW's behavior? I think even Clinton makes that hurdle.

But to top it off you make a huge deal out of Ted Kennedy drinking and driving and remind us all in the retelling exactly how dangerous a combination that can be. Exactly what poor judgement it is to conduct one's self in that way.

The Bottom Line is that he drank and then drove. He was caught for it. He was caught exercising poor judgement in the commission and caught again exercising poor judgment in the omission. Your opinion of the tattle tale is quite irrelevant, because GW did in fact do these things.
