Not only are there alot of people that agree on the abolishment of the EC, they are on opposite sides of the political spectrum as well!

Moreover, many who believe in the EC also come from opposite sides.

Probably one of the few issues that isn't partisan.

re getting rid of the EC - why not slip down that slope a little further and get rid of the bicameral (sic?) legislature? After all, the Senate is designed to give a little more voice to small states, just like the electoral college does.
