I tend to agree that his drinking and driving isn't the definitive work of the man. Indeed it did happen 24 years ago. I don't vilify him for the commission of this other than it does represent poor judgment. I do however note that up until last week, this was not disclosed. That is significantly more recent than 24 years ago. This is a demonstration of a bit more current poor judgment. I only make this point in response to those that would vilify Gore for his mistakes and to GW himself who has been making the claim that he looks to restore the integrity of the office.
