Skeets, Well, if we sat around and counted all of PC's bad predictions, it would take longer than the hand job in Florida. <g>

I was enjoying my first year of puberty in 1960 and will NOT allow it to be considered ancient history.

I can't even imagine a scenario where Gore is declared the winner after this mess, so I did not comment on how his administration would reek. However, we could have our first four years of no concession speech. Well, at least the first four in this century. I'm sure Andy Jackson never admitted that he lost to John Quincy Adams, since he won the popular vote handily. And Ol' Hickory wasn't much at conciliatory speeches, unless "don't fire your muskets til you see their faces swell, then open up your squirrel guns and really give 'em...well" is conciliatory.

On the stocks I follow, nearly all of them seem to be down less than the averages, both the ones I like and the ones I hate. Odd.

Apologies to Johnnie Horton's "Battle of New Orleans" for the line about the squirrel guns. Though I'm not certain Horton wrote it, I do know he sang the hit. Back pre-Skeeter. <g>
