We've just seen a complete recount and the Bush lead consistently shrank as the counting progressed. Statically that's a complete outlyer for that to happen. However, through all the recounting, the democratic machine in Florida was still not able to come up with enough "found" ballots for Gore. So Daley, who knows how it all works, is now going to "Alert 2" stage and requested hand recounts where they can come up with more ballots. I predicted to my family at the dinner table tonight that by next Thursday, Gore will be declared the winner on the hand recounts, and when Bush people raise the issue of fraud, the press will simply label them sore losers. I sincerely hope I am wrong on this one but let's watch and see this one unfold.
