<< The ballot will be judged legal. >>

How so? It was constructed with violations of the laws of Florida, and it had a significant effect upon an election. It also effected citizens ability to vote.

You could be right. But! The Florida Supreme Court is not on friendly terms with the Republican majority in Florida's legislature. In fact, Jeb Bush has already tried to attack and weaken the current Florida Supreme Court, but failed.

So, IOW, this could get very interesting.

There's apparently a name for the little piece of paper that gets punched out, a 'chad' -

"The problem in Massachusetts was the chad -- the piece of paper that is supposed to separate completely from a hole-punch ballot. When it does not, counting machines may not be able to ''read'' the ballot properly."

So a careful recount by hand should catch them? ... lots of time anyway with the overseas ballots still coming in.
