<< Okay, ... maybe not all of them were stupid. >>

I went into a Publix today. There was an elderly woman working the cash register. She wasn't political, but she was hurt and offended by the many insults, that she was hearing, against the elderly.

<< But why was it illegal? >>

I'm sure that you'll be hearing the basis for the lawsuits via the news, but, in short, it did not follow the law of ballot construction, such as: The name must be to the left of the mark.

<< Why didn't you fix it before it was used? >>

Good question! Why indeed. These Supervisors of Elections make between $100,000 and $200,000 per year. To do what? They couldn't even go thru a test run on the new format? No new system should be implemented without a test run or without prototyping.

Why were the polls backed up for hours? Why didn't any official in Florida, either Republican or Democrat have a clue about the horrendous problems with voting precincts, caused by the population explosion down here?

Politicians suck!

<< The laws on the books said it was illegal? >>

Yes. But, did the violations reach the level which would cause a re-vote, or nullify the election?

<< Are you sure the laws are correct and valid? Maybe the laws are illegal and the ballot was really a pretty good ballot. >>

My God! You couldn't be sitting around with CNN or FOX or MSNBC up your arse, like I do. <g>

This is all being discussed on programs like "Talk back Live", Geraldo, O'Reilly, Chris Matthews, Hannity and Colmes, etc.

<< Am I spinning this? >>

No. You are asking the questions that are going to be addressed in court shortly. Jeb Bush has been at odds with the Supreme Court of Florida. I don't know what effect this will have, but I know what effect it won't have. <g>
