OT RE: "I wasted enough time already."

Hi Ibexx,

I appreciate your posts and the time you have put into them and hope you continue to post.

RE: "It always worked that way."

Maybe people do this when they feel hurt, which is how John sounded to me.

I think John owes you an apology for jumping to conclusions - he didn't ask you what happened during your trip that made the towns you visited scary for you. If John apologizes, I think you owe John an apology for telling him his true color showed.

For you two to get in an argument is surprising and unlike both of you - so why don't you both apologize?

Maybe we all could blame this one on the Election.

Regards,
Amy J

Ibexx,

re: "Finally, your true color showed"

Your "true colors" concerning a normal American small town:

"My impressions was - pardon the expression - that the place was basically an no-man's land. I sincerely hope my experience with DC was an exception rather than the rule. (Some of those remote small towns are truly scary.)"

re: "Do me a favor: please do not ever post to me again. I wasted enough time already."

And your time is worth so much more than those folks in Dade City. Probably you vote is worth more as well. After all, you don't live in "no-man's land".

My last post to you, per your gracious request,

John
