Ted... I believe the absentee ballots must be postmarked no later than the day of the election and must arrive no more than 10 days later. Bush and company never said they don't want to wait for those ballots to be counted. They have no choice but to wait. It's the law.

THE WATSONYOUTH,

RE the date the ballots can be submitted/postmarked, you are probably right and I misunderstood.

As for Bush and company they indicate they are being held up by Gore and not FL law. He said today that he has won FL (before the absentee ballots have been counted).....and then, he lamented that Gore and company were in his way. Both Bush and his campaign aide made that statement today. Rove in the AM and Bush in the PM.

TWY,

I am basically coming to a conclusion that the election will be stolen from Bush. The hand count in Democratic countries will do it. How hard is it to punch a second hole in Bush ballot to make them invalid, while nobody is looking.

It is very depressing.
